“This hotel, with its Victorian exterior and prime location in Oban's shopping district, evokes a sense of historical charm. While some areas show their age, the recent redecoration in many rooms suggests a commitment to modern comforts. Its in-house dining, focused on locally sourced ingredients, along with an on-site bar featuring local spirits, speaks to traditional Scottish hospitality.”

cramped room watery eggs
The location proved convenient for accessing transportation hubs.
My room felt quite cramped (perhaps smaller than advertised). The worn carpet and dated decor gave the impression of neglect. Breakfast was underwhelming. The scrambled eggs tasted watery.
